Dr Sepehr Abrishami
Biography
I am a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader for MSc BIM at the University of Portsmouth. I am an architect and researcher with experience working in Europe and Middle East. I am an expert in Architecture, Integrated & Digital Design and constructionism, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Virtual/Augmented/Mixed Reality Programming for automation and simulation of Design and Offsite-Manufactured-Construction, and Virtual Prototyping. I am a First Class Registered Architect in Iran, where I began my international career with the creation of the AA Design Studio. I have executed multiple architectural and interior design projects, and have won several architectural design projects including hotels, residential complexes, etc. I have a considerable research and practical experience in IT integrated architectural design and automation in construction over the past 9 years, since I started my Master’s degree in Environmental Design at the Welsh School of Architecture (Cardiff University). I have also supervised several PhD and postgraduate students.
